I’m writing in regard to the theft in the Nassau County Clerk of Courts office. First, the accounting firm should be fired for not doing their job. This has been going on for about six to eight years so we have paid them a lot of money for nothing. We should hold any future payments due them then we should sue them. I understand the commissioners have to fire them and if they don’t do their job we need to vote them out of office as soon as possible.
Now let’s talk about the county employee who cannot explain the $5,000 cash transfer. Her job should be terminated at once. Her actions demand this. Let’s get this mess cleaned up now. I think (Clerk of Court) John Crawford is trying but he needs help from the commissioners.
